Hi All,
How can I copy UI Elements of one web dynpro component to another web dynpro component?
Thanks
Hi,
We can copy the UI elements of one webdynpro component into another webdynpro component. The process is like this " Select the UI element which you want to save, right click and select SAVE AS TEMPLATE".
So when you go to other webdynpro component, if you click on code wizard, you can see the template(of UI element) which you saved earlier.
Hope this helps you.
Thanks
KH

For future reference: this is possible by using Templates.
Simply right-click a container, group or other object in the tree view of the Layout tab of your View and select "Save as Template". You can name and describe the template and opt to preserve the DDIC/Context bindings though I'm unsure if the bindings really work.
Now just open the Web Dynpro Code Wizard (CTRL+F7) while you're on the Layout tab of any view and you can insert your saved template. It will be listed under User templates. Note that you may have to reopen SE80 for a newly created template to appear in the list if you're using multiple windows.

Hi Khandal Haresh ,
Copying Ui Elements b/w compnents is not possible, but you can copy view from one component to another, for that just right click -> give component name.
