Alert for failure in Receiver adapter

Hi All,

I configured alert and it is working fine for error in intergration engine.If there is any error in receiver adapter alert is not triggering, In one of my scenario "System Error" is coming in Message Monitoring in RWB, for this alert is not triggering. I am working in PI7.0 and service pack is 11.

Is it possible to get alerts for error in receiver adapter..?If not what is the reason..

Hi All,

I tested by selecting adapter in where did error occurs then also alert not coming for "System Error".

Can anyone suggest some solution for this.

In conditon i gave my sender and receiver message interface and In where did the error occurs i selected No Restriction.

How did u check the Receiver side error its triggering alert or not.have u failed the receiver adapter.

while creating the catagory if u have not mentioned the receiver details then also in alert u cant see the receiver details.

Hi,

In RWB u have to do the Alert configuration,what u have done there.

in condition have u specify any condition for sender only,because if u create the rule correctly then alert will trigger if u get error at sender side or receiver side.

in condtion ,u have option called connected to message in that have u specified YES is u done that and gave only sender details it will trigger if u get error at receiver side.

and another option u have where did the error occurs in that what u have metioned.

Hi,

For raising the alert related to Adapter specific you need to create alert rule in RWB and select the adapter option and then select the adapter for which u want to raise an alert.

To configure your alerts, proceed as follows:

● Create the alert categories that you want to use in your alert rules.

● Create the alert rules in which you want to use your alert categories.

Try defining Alerts for the Adapter Engine and select the Adapter type in question.

You can do this in RWB, Alert configuration, Add Rules.
