Hi experts,

Can any one explain about.

Storage Bin Template related with Structure.

Str Start Value End value Incre

CASE1 : ABC A11 B22 111

CASE2 : ABB A11 B22 101

How the Bins generated ..?

As in my 2nd case:

CASE2 : ABB A11 B22 101

The bins generated are

A11, A12, A13, A14 ...A22

B11, B12, B13, B14 .. B22

This example given by SAP Help, I want to know the logic of ' Strctrue'.

ABB A11 B22 101

I am not checking any help....but i want to tell you the following when you are checking the Bin structure Template.

Just below the Bin Structure in the Template...you will have one more thing.....check out that;

CCC CNN CNN

ABB A11 B22 .... Incremental Value A01

Starting Value & Ending Value

Here in the above example;

Starting Value - A11

Ending Value - B22

Incremental Value - A01 means one (so between A11 an A12 bins you will have one bin coordinate difference)

CCC CNN CNN

Here, C referes to Character and N referes to Numberic Value;

so, if you take a bin name; it should come as follows;

ABC-A11-A01 If you take ABB; ABB-A22-A01

ABC-A11-A02 ABB-A22-A02 etc.

ABC-A11-A03

Hope it will be very clear to you...now check the template once again.

In Str ABC, System picks the C value increases with 1 count which leads creation of A11,A12

then it picks the B value and does the same with creation of A21,A22. Then goes to A value and creates B11.

In CASE2 : ABB A11 B22 101

Systems picks the bins according to the structure with same logic which leads to creation of A11,A22,B11,B22
