What is Interface View and what is the purpose of interface view?

Hi,

Interface View acts as a Gateway between browser and the Web dynpro Application.It helps the User to enter the Web Dynpro Application.From the Browser,the request enters the Web Dynpro Application through this Interface View.

It also acts as the Gateway between two Web Dynpro Components.

Interface View

Each window has a uniquely assigned interface view. This interface view represents the outward view of the window. The interface view is linked with a Web Dynpro application so that the window can be called using a URL.

Hi,

Interface view is the view from where the execution of your application starts.

If you have situation where there is a requirement that application -> has to communicate with another application the only source is through interface view.

If you observer in the interface view there we will be having plugins.

those plugins are meant for communication between applications.

suppose

application1 application2

inbound plug -

---

> outboundplug.

We can also pass parameters while firing the plug.
