problem in data retriving

hi guru,

by the help of itcsy structure ,i fetched data from data base.

REGUH-RWBTR.

IN DATA BASE THE RWBTR VALUES ARE 1,000.00- IN RUPPES.

BUT WHEN I AM FETCHING IT SHOWS IN DEBUGGING MODE 1.000,00 RUPPES.MEANS HERE COMMA & FULL STOP CHANGING THERE PLACE...THIS IS MY PROBLEM

HOW TO ACHIEVE THIS.

PLEASE SOMEBODY GIVE ME SOLUTION....

please check your user setting.

in menubar got

system -


> user profile -


> owndata-->default (tab)decimal notification

From menubar go to system then from their user profile then owndata and from their use the default tab , in the default tab u find the decimal notation change the decimal notification.

i appriciate ur efforts. i thought , it will solve..

what ever u told i did.i changed as per my position requirement.but again same results i got.what can i do.

can i ask to my basis team.please guide me.

if no solution..also i will give full points to ur efforts..

Hi,

I don't know how you are getting both formats of decimal representation. In debigging the value stored in WRBTR should show in the internal format which is always decimal represented as '.' and no thousand separator. Hence you need to pass this value to a character field and format it according to your display requirement. Then this value should be passed to the OUT TABEL ITCSY.

hi bijay,

u r right..in data base the value is 1,000.00- in ruppes

yhat means 1000 ruppes in minus sign.

but in debugging mode when fetching it concverts to

1.000,00 here only comma & full stop positions changed automatically. i want only this format what existing in database. give me the sol. i am waiting for ur reply.

points r deffinitely will give.
