Ok actually i have a webdynpro application calling the above BAPI and was thinking how to update the field for the user name for audit trail purposes. But i just find out that i was using the wrong method. When i create the JCO connection, i should not use user/password as my authentication technique.
Instead i should use other methods like UME etc. Thanks.
