Standard price calculation

Hi experts,

How is an standard price of a material determined.

I learnt that its been done from the purchase order value.

But i appreciate if any one can tell me the calcualtion process and logic behind it.

Hi,

While taking a standard costing run ( Standard cost for the Product) system will refer the Activity ( Via routing & costcentre) Material prices ( via BOM & material master) and ofcourse the Overheads.

This is basically the standard price...Means the price if the material is produced as per the planned prices & rates.

Anyhow this is a basic overview... Procedures may change on business needs
