Difference Item Div. vs Division

Hi Gurus,

Is there any diff. between Item Division and Division.???

hi Balaji,

Item division:

It indicates whether the division at the item level is proposed from the material master record of the item or whether the division you enter in the sales document header also counts for all items.

We maintain Item division in sale document type.

Division:

It is nothing but product group. Multiple Divisions is assigned to sale org
