Dear Experts,

Durrinng applying the Solman SP Stack13, the system stuck and gives

runtime errors

i tried to do new login but it is failed and gives this dump

i can't go to any transaction

i checked SAP notes and i found note 1112065.i tried to implement it

via os level but i couldn't and i got the follwoing errors

ERROR: I'm waiting 100 sec (Count: 0).

i tried to schedule RDDIMPDP job but i got the runtime error during

runing report RDDNEWPP.

could you help please to solve this problems.

After running tp r3i with return 0/4, we go back SPAM. Next, what should we do with the queue? resume the queue mport or reset the queue?

Hi all,

I follow your step above. In step "tp showbuffer", it state that "0 transports to be imported." When i execute step" tp r3i" and i get " the import of development object and tables entries of SAPKA70019 into QS1 is not perform. please check the tp command. no valid entry found for SAPKA70019 in QS1 buffer."

May i know what is the problems? currenty i have an error message for almost tx code. This is the first installation in new server and i do not backup anything yet after the installation. i directly update the kernel and patch to the system until i recieve the error SAPLOCS_ALV_UI and if_salv_bs_cm is unknown.

i really appreciate for your help.

I'm in the same boat, only, when doing the AFTER_IMPORT for SAPKB70011, I get this message:

CL_DSWP_OP_AUTHORISATION_ENGINCP

with a Syntax_Error

Any ideas?

Hi Jerry,

It is possible that the errors are caused by note corrections that were implemented before you imported the Support Packages and that were partially deimplemented when you imported the Support Package queue. You can correct such problems by performing a modification adjustment and by implementing the notes that are still valid (yellow or green traffic light in SPAU) again. The modification adjustment is aready prepared at this point and it can be called easily in the Support Package Manager by choosing the menu path 'Extras'->'Modification Adjustment'.

There are a couple of notes, but they will not go in. I'm stuck, and SAP isn't helping much. This is really frustrating when you send a message to SAP and they ignore you. They worked on it once, and now it has been in the queue for 5 days with a status of "Sent to SAP".

I believe their support sucks.

Hello,

If your problem is not solved still, then you can do the following, however please verify with SAP support first:

1. Take a full offline backup of you solution manager server. So that you can revert back to the same point in case. Then start SAP system, and ensure you have tp and R3trans latest.

2.Pls make sure that you have NOT made any changes to import

buffer, use the command to verify

tp showbuffer <SID> tag=spam pf=<...transport profile>

3. check at OS level to see if there are any tp or R3trans still

running; if yes stop them.

4. The TRBAT and TRJOB tables should be empty, if there are any

entries take a backup of the table, and delete the entry, manually if

neccesary at database level

4. Pls issue the following tp command to manually import SP

tp R3I SAPKB70012 <SID> pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/<Your TP_DOMAIN_SID.PFL>

-Dclientcascade=yes -Dstoponerror=8 -Drepeatonerror=8

-Dsourcesystems= tag=SPAM

The return code for this tp call must be 0 or 4. otherwise revert back to SAP support

Please note, this command should not be used unless advised by SAP support.

5. Once tp finishes, logon then check the import queue and confirm queue in SPAM after it finishes.

Hope it solves your problem.

they asked me to check if tp or r3trans are still working "no"

and to make tables TRBAT and TRJOB empty "done"

now i'm waiting the next step to start the import manual

Hi Guys,

Intrested post to fine on the forum, but i found it late.

I faced the similar situation when i was trying to apply SAPKB70013 on my ECC 6.0 Sandbox.

I ran the Import with tp at OS level, but dint use tp R3I , i used tp IMPORT ALL..

Now, the status of the SPAM is in "Error State".

How do i rectify this. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Experts,

SAP Support helped me to solve the problem and i imported the queue successfully.

The problem was " The MAIN IMPORT has been aborted due to a shutdown in the database and the system got inconsistent and not usable anymore"

So they recommend to import the queue manual using the following instructions

1-Ensure that no more TP and R3trans are running at OS level

2- Ensure that the entry in the transport buffer for SAPKB70013 is still available, check that with

tp showbuffer <SID> pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL tag=spam

If the entry of SAPKB70013 is still available, ensure that TRBAT and TRJOB tables are empty (check at DB level)

3- then start the main import manually using the command

tp r3i SAPKB70013 DS2 pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL tag=spam

-Dclientcascade=yes -Drepeatonerror=8

(all in one line)

this step will take more time , after this step finished with return code 0 or 4

i become able to logon to the system and i completed the queue from SPAM tcode

I read the note you mentioned, 1112065, maybe RDDIMPD is failing with the same kind of short dump or you have no batch queues defined in the system (unlikely!)?

suggest you run dpmon from the os level while doing the transport import & try to see if RDDIMPD actually runs at all

beyond that it all sounds a bit serious & it could be time to log the issue with SAP support

Hello Sherif,

We have encountered this problem several times in different installations. The solution is to finish running the SP queue manually using a TP command. The TP command is "tp r3i" (of course you add your pf=<profile> parameter and your system ID for it to work).

However, on rare occassions, this command won't help because the features it relies on fail as well.

Hello,

Please do NOT run this command unless you know all the parameters such as 'clientcascade', 'srcsystem', and 'tag=spam'. Basically the TP r3i command doesn't need the background job RDDIMPDP. But please remember to finish the reset of steps in SPAM after you run r3i.
