HTTP to XI to Mail - Message processing failed

Hi,

HTTP to XI to Mail

Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: com.sap.aii.messaging.srt.BubbleException: Unsupported protocol: smpt [null "null"]

Any idea to reslove this???

please control your receiver adapter, may be some values are missing.

In front of URL, provide this smtp://mailserver

and use "smtp" instead of "smpt"

Hi All,

Sorry for such a silly typo....... Corrected it.....

Now i get the following error......

Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: java.net.UnknownHostException: APAXM9999.dir.svc.xyz.com

Am not sure about all the settings are done for a mail adapter or not, At admin level do my mailserver need to be configured with XI, If so who wil i do that.

And am not able to us 3rd party free smtp like GOOGLE, could some one through some light on it please. If u have any other free URL provide me the same.

Hi,

For sending mail to yahoo or gmail, configure POp3 for external systems

You need pop.mail.yahoo.com for inbox and smtp.mail.yahoo.com for outbox

OR

Also I have done a similar scenaio, It worked with pop://pop.bizmail.yahoo.com

For gmail:

OR

The url u are giving is used for small bussiness mail id, so it wont work here,

so here u have to use:

pop://pop.mail.yahoo.co.in

smtp://smtp.mail.yahoo.co.in
