MDM EP Integration

Hi,

I am trying to integrate MDM with EP.

MDM version - MDM 5.5 SP05 Build - 5.5.40.83

EP 7.0 (comes integrated with BI 7)

I downloaded the MDM business packages from the marketplace and was able to successfully import them into EP.

However, when I try to create the MDM system in EP, it displays an empty drop box in step 4 - step where repository needs to be selected.

Please help.

The problem was mainly because of version mismatch

Hi Seema,

It seems ur problem is solved...i am also facing the same problem...i hav to do an EP MDM integration and the MDM version is MDM5.5 SP04 Patch 2.

If i upgarde it to SP05 or SP06..can u please tell me the details of what u have done to get ur connection done successfully.

Which version u r using...does the patch number also effect alongwith the Support Package?? Does patch number also has to be the same as that of the MDM server?

Hi Becky,

We had installed MDM 5.5 SP5 (5.5.42.65) and in Portal Content

MDM 5.5 SP05 Application Patch 1 (Build 5.5.41.58) and

MDM 5.5 SP05 Technology Patch 02 HF 02

Hi Seema,

All the files which are required to be deployed to integrate EP with MDM System,

the files must be Correct.I mean to say which version of MDM you are using, according to that version you have to deploy the same files using SDM.the files would be avialable with your Downloads of MDM Server.

otherwise check with your MDM server is started or not.
