Hello,
after I have installed successfully the voice kit, I can only see the technical names of the labels. It seems like I am missing some kind of language file. Does anyone know if there exists such? Have I done anything wrong concering the installation? Is there any post-activity missing?
Thank you in advance,
Peter
Hello
We faced a similar problem.
This happens when the Voice related SCA upgrades have not been done properly. Correct element names start coming if you upgrade again

Hi,
thnak you for your hint. I have installed the Voice Add on the first time using JSPM. The SCA-Files are still in the in box, but the JSPM will not import them one more time. I am also having a sca.zip file, which might solve the problem. But the JCPM also does not import that.
Do you have any question, how i might proceed?
Thank you in advance,
Peter
Hi to All,
I'm not sure what UI you have to the deploy tool, but usually I resolve this issue by setting the "version Rule" to UpdateAll and redeploy the SCA's.
in my case i add line to a property file:
update.config=/jspm/deployVersionRule=updateAll
I hope this helps.
If you want you can attach a screenshot of the UI you have and i'll try to help.
Regards.
Omer.
Hi Omer,
thank you for the hint. I am running the system using WindowsXP and thus the way it is described in the note does not work. I had to edit the configurationfile, whos location I found in the file go.bat.
So I was able to redeploy the Voce application. But still instead of the lable description in english only the technical names are shown.
If you have an other suggestion, you are very welcome.
Thank you for your help so far,
Peter
Hi Peter,
I'd tell you what i would do, although it is far from perfect in terms of a proper solution to this problem, and is also risky:
I'd try to redeploy both Visual Composer SCA's and Voice SCA's, and afterwards perform a full server restart.
I'm sorry i cannot provide a more "pinpoint" solution.
Regards.
Omer.

Hi,
So from where can i download the design time and runtime components required.
Also is some hardware required or we can use the interface provided by our system.
for eg: We can use desktop mic as the input and media player or speaker as the output.
Can we do that?
I am just trying to check whether creating a voice application
will be feasible for me.
Thanx in advance,
Nikhil
Hi,
i will try that and get back to you if i have any problems.
Thanks a lot..
Regards,
Nikhil

Hi Nikhil,
here are the configuration steps to build voice applications with
VC 7.1:
STEP 1 You download the file SAP_VOICE.zip from your Netweaver CE 7.1 Server
Example:
http://servername:<your_port>/voice_resources/SAP_VOICE.zip
Unpack this zip-file on the same Server in the root directory.
The call http://servername:<your_port>/nwa
Go to "Configuration Mangement>Infrastructure>Java HTTP Provider Configuration".
In the Virtual Hosts table, choose Default.
On tab page General, select the Directory List checkbox.
On tab page Aliases, create an alias to allow access by HTTP to the directory that you unzipped to the hard drive:
Alias name: SAP_VOICE
Path: <path to the SAP_VOICE directory unzipped on your server volume>
Save your data.
STEP 2
Download the free VoiceXML-Gateway Voxeo-Prophecy:
http://www.voxeo.com/prophecy/prophecy8_download_tts_large.jsp
Install the software (not on VISTA, i tested on windows-xp and VISTA, but only runs on windows-xp).
Then you must register to voxeo to get a free license. Install
the license and then start all voxeo-services.
Then watch this eLearning:
In this verry good eLearning you can see all the steps to build a Voice applicatin with VC 7.1 and the configuration in Voxeo.
Good luck

Hi All,
I want to develop some voice based applications using Visual Composer 7.1.
Could anyone please help me what are the different things needed. Also whether some third party software is required.
I have done some reading on this topic,it said that you require some software which has text to speech conversion and vice versa.
Please correct me if i am wrong.
Can this be done in VC 7.0.If yes could anyone provide me the links from where i can download this stuff.
Thanks & Regards,
Nikhil
