Hello All,
Sapld.exe is used for remote prinitng in SAP environment. I came to know that sapld.exe can be replaced by sapSprint (xSprint.exe. In net when I checked it is given that sapld.exe is no longer used by SAP now, & we have to use xSprint.exe.
We have a SAP environment here (very small), we want to use xSprint.exe. We are scared to replace sapld.exe since it is in working condition now. Can anyone please comment on this. Is there any issue in replacing sapld by xsprint.
Many Thanks in advance
Sudha
Hi,
you can use xsprint.exe instead of saplpd.exe on windows host ( Spool server)
you need to uninstall saplpd.exe first
If SAPlpd is installed, uninstall it by deleting the SAPlpd installation directory.
If SAPlpd is installed as a service using the srvany tool, remove the service by executing the following command: Instsrv SAPLPD remove
for installing xsprint.exe look at following
