Hi,
What is the difference between F5 and F8 Proforma Invoices?
Regards,
Ajit
Dear Ajit
F5 is Order based Proforma. This will be used mostly in export scenarios where the customer would like to have some document in reference to their order to enable make wire transfer from their country for the ordered value.
F8 is Delivery related Proforma. This will be used normally in Consignment Fillup process where you transfer the material from plant to overseas warehouse agent.
Thanks

F5 is the order based proforma invoice
F8 is the delivery based proforma invoice.
Other than that there is no big difference. Both are issued for information purposes only. they will not pass any information to accounting
Reward points if it is useful
