link to original

Hello,

When we create a new original in our Document info record, it is stored on a content server.

Does anyone know, how I can retrieve the link to the original?

Hi Vicky,

with the FM SDOK_PHIO_GET_URL_FOR_GET you get the link to the file. The input to the FM is the PHIO_ID, which you can get out of the table DMS_PH_CD1. In table DMS_DOC2LOIO you can get the link between the DIR-key and the LOIO_ID.

Thank you very much for your reply.

I have found the function module and the result was indeed an URL

When I copy the URL in my internet brower, I receive an undefined file format instead of my original (for example word file). Do I have to convert something first before I can open my original directly from the URL?

Hi Vicky,

use the URL you get back in the export parameter URLS, not the one you get back in export parameter DOCUMENT_URL.
