Hello,
I am wondering if I could get some suggestion for the following situation:
Current system landscape:
ECC 6.0 with SRM 4.0 (we are only using SUS w/ XI 3.0 and we do not used EBP. We only use the SUS-MM scenario).
My company wants to install the IMS (Invoice Management System) and we are debating the following two scenarios.
1. Upgrade our existing SRM-SUS system to SRM 5.0 (server 5.5) and implement the IMS.
2. Deploy the SRM add-on to ECC 6.0 and implement the IMS there.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance,
Kyle
Quick Question. When you had SRM 4.0 & ECC 6.0 did you use the Internal ITS or External ITS, did you encounter any issues if you used the External ITS.

Hi Kyle,
for me there is no question to upgrade your existing landscape.
The AddOn Solution was / is just a teaser and only works in the combination of SRM 5.0 wih ERP 6.0. Have a look into note 963000.
You have already a nice SRM implementation - stay with it to be flexible in future.
Cheers,
Claudia

Hi,
Yes. There are 2 scenarios that you mentioned. You need to think about your future business plan. If you have a plan to use sourcing and contract management, landscape 1 is better.
