Hi Arun,

In order to be able to create a QM order for a notification, you should have the right settings in Customizing (...>Quality Notifications> Notification Processing> Define costing parameters (You typically use order types QL01 or QL02 for insp lots and QN01 for notifications).

In the notification, select Notification > Functions > Order > Create. The system will create an internal order in the background and display its number in the relevant field on Processing tab. Save the notification.

Costs to this order are posted using transaction KB21N (available in QN menu tree). You can see the costs within the notification by choosing Environment > Cost Report QM Order. Finally, you must settle the cost (KO88).

Hope this helps.

You need to customize the MIGO screen for the movement type and bring AUFNR in account assignment tap. Then you will be able to post material cost to QM order.

You can put material consumption cost though rework order also by sattling it to QM order.

Another way to get costs on the q-order is to withdraw materials from a warehouse and post it against the q-order. Then you will see the costs of the withdrawn material on the q-order.

The next way is to create rework orders and create there as settlement rule your q-order. When you have confirmed the rework order and settle it, the costs will posted to the q-order.
