Export to excel in MDM Result Set iView

Hi,

I would like to export the data in the MDM Result Set iViews from portal to an excel sheet.

Is there any ready made functionality for doing this.

Can anyone help me out with this.

Hi Siddardh,

There is no out-of-the box functionality in MDM iViews to convert data into spreadsheets. It's an enhancement that needs to be developed on your own.

Yes there is no inbuilt functionality as of now.

We have built in custom webdynpro for main table which is doing the export to excel.

I'm working on the same requirement of exporting the result set iView(MDM Business Package) data to excel.Could you please tell me how can we achive this?

Hi Sid, Even we have got the same requirement in our project but due to the work & cost involvement for this custom development we have given thick client data manager access to the end user this way he can export the search result.
