Compulsory tax number in sales document

Hi gurus,

we want that tax number in a creation of sales document ( VA01 ) would be mandatory, it's a subscreen relationship with customer. We have been searching solutions via customizing or programming... but we need help.

Hi Daniel - can you elaborate your requirement for users to understand and provide solution?

1) One way would be - - have a text field in the Sales Order for the tax number and print it

2) Another way - have a Z Table and populate form there per customer
