Hi,

Three steps they have used in IP are

1. Receiver step- Here assign FileRequest_AI msg interface.

2. Synchronous send step- Here assign FileDetails_Sync_AI

3. Asynchronous send step - Here assign FileResponse_AI

Hi,

A BPM content steps like send steps, receiver steps , container operations .......

This steps have a properties like you can see in properties windows, the propertie windows have several parameters according the step that you have been used (Message Interface, synchronous or asynchronous etc).

Send, receive , transform steps have to process messages. These messages are configured in Interface Object, where you setup their parameters like synchrous or asynchronous message, inbound or outbound or abstract. This type is very important for BPM. BPMs manage "always" abstract message that we configured in Container View. In this view we have to create the variables processed by steps (send , receiver ...). You can create simple message or multiline message (like vector).

On the other hand you can find a lot of documentation in sdn about it.

Best Regards
