transport from local repository to shared repository

Can anybody explain me how I can transport objects from local repository to shared repository

(in VC 7.1)

Hi Steven

you need to open the Model Management dialog, select your DC and click "add to source countrol" button (the one with the plus sign on it).

If you need information regarding how to connect to the DTR you can find it in the Links Topic at the top of the forum.

Hi Steven,

In case it wasn't clear from Shai's explanation, you can add only an entire development component with its contents, you can't add individual models. The development component name must be unique within the shared repository.

thx 4 your reactions.

Now the problem is that the compontent has the same name as the shared one so i have to move it in one or another way to an otherone first.

I'll try it out later this day
