Creating a package for proxy scenario?

Can you give me some info regarding package creation while generating proxy? In which system we need to create package?

Hi For ur querry

Object can only be created in SAP package

Please make sure that the name you are giving to the Enhancement point is in customer name space.

Have you created the Enhancement spot?.

Goto Edit mode of the program and goto the menu EDIT->Enhancement Operation->Create.

There enter the name of Enhancemen Spot name and the Enchancement Point name starting with Z.

I remember the package needs to be created in SE80 and add it to SAI_DEMO component supplied by SAP in SE21.

Hi Bala,

You can try this.

How to create a Package For Proxy Generation in R/3

For proxies you need to create a four level package. Goto the Transaction SPACKAGE and Give your own package name starting with Z and choose create.

Then create SAI_SXMS and SAI_TOOLS Package interfaces in the use access tab page. Now include a new package name in Package included tab page.

Double click on your new packge name continue the same steps 2 more times,

now the four level package has been created, you can use

the first given pakage name as a package name for creating packages

Hi,

We generate proxy in application system , so we need to create a package in application system, and we have to assign a new package for every new Proxy generation.

Remember you dont generate ABAP proxies in Integration server.

yes, i have created package in application system, but while assigning the package, it is giving the following error "Object can only be created in SAP package".

I hope the Name of the package starts with Z and it should be New package, you cant reuse an existing package.

Yes satish, i created package, name starts with z only. Still getting the same issue.
