How to trace whether JDI is installed on J2EE

Is there any way to check whether JDI is installed on J2EE engine. Please suggest.

do you mean "with coding" or "somehow"?

The easiest way to check, is to request

http://<host>:5<instance_number>00/devinf

if it works, the JDI is installed. Or look in the SDM-repository. If you see the JBUILDTOOLS, JDI is installed.
