location of SAPGUI favorites

When a user adds a favorite to their sapgui menu, where is that stored?

is it local:

- PC (local file)

- Registry

- jet database (like history)

Or is it stored within SAP?

Hi,

The shortcuts that you create from SAPLogon are stored locally on the PC.

The transactions that you add to SAPGUI menu favorites are stored in SAP database. This way, you can logon to SAPGUI from any PC and your favorites will still be there.

Hi,

It is stored in the file.

(1) the file defined in SAPLOGON_INI_FILE

(2) saplogon.ini in the GUI installation directory

(3) saplogon.ini in the Windows directory (c:\windows)
