Hi there

I am trying to do a restore . But I get this error

The dabase doesn't start up.

-24988,ERR_SQL: SQL error

-9407,System error: unexpected error

3,Database state: OFFLINE

20025,ACTIVATE is missing

This is a knldiag log. We running on SLES - and the maxdb version is 7.6.3. build 14.

Hi Thembela,

please check the external backup tool logfile.

The error

Backupmedium #1 (/tmp/nsr_pipe) Could not open volume

looks like the external tool did not create a pipe to get the data from.
