Connection problem

Heii All,

I am facing problem regarding IM and DM. as I do connect to console MDM server is mounted and running . Repository is also loaded and running but when I launch either Data Manager or Import Manager it prompts Repository name , user Id and Pwd, but after giving all these details application just opens up and then simply disappear.

what is the problem exactly.

Heii,

For this prolem

Check the version of clients installables.MDM server version should match the client versions also.

Morover Only three issues possible

1) Check the correct version

2) Go to Task manager and kill the IM and DM process and again try it.

3) Check the CPU Utilization of MDS.

Hi Karan,

I did face this problem and it got resolved when I tried either of following options:

1] Repair the repository.

Or

2] Archive the repository first. Delete your repository and create new repository using the archive you took.

Karan,

check version compatibilty and Just uninstall and reinstall ur components.

if problem still persists, stop mdm server go mds.ini and delete all repositories details from that file and start server again.

Hi Karan,

There can be problem with your repository what you can do is Unarchieve the repository again, and reinstall the DM and IM clients. Unarchieving the repository with the respective .a2a file may solve your problem.
