Dear Sir,

We need to implement and installation for XI, Can we installed XI in the same server with SAP R/3 . Or it should separate to the new server. And effect to the performance. Or are there any documents to support on this.

Please advise.

Thank you and best regards,

Vimol

Hi,

installed XI in the same server with SAP R/3

this is possible by maintaining the vertual server for XI.

But this is not prefered way of doing XI implementation and installation.

this is fine for IDES system for personal usage.

There will be huge impact of using the virtual server while real time application.

Its always better to maintain the seperate server for XI and R/3.

XI can be installed on mySAP ERP as well.

It's more a question of server sizing and performance.

Vendors are accessing to SUS, so usually it is installed in a secured area (in the DMZ).

You talked about "ECC/SUS client" : I don't think it has been validated to use SUS on mySAP ERP (like for SRM side).

You can have one box for ECCSRMXI (One Client Deployment), and one box for SUS.

thanks
