Hi All,
I am using SAP ECC 6.0 and working with SAP DMS.
When I am creating a D I R, I am not able to check in the document into content repository.
Following error flashes as soon as I try to save the D I R :
"Error while checking in and storing: D:\Documents and Settings\......\......"
The error massege number is 26 253.
I have searched for the related notes on service.sap.com. However all the related notes are relevant for the SAP 4.6 B to ECC 5.00.
Please help me in fixing the said issue

Hi Raghul,
Is this issue got resolved?
From where are you trying to check-in the document?
From DIR screen (or) from CAD Desktop screen (or) from AutoCAD?
Please let me know so that i can help you to resolve the error.

Hi RAHUL,
Have you found a solution for your Check in problem?
We just upgraded to ECC6 and are now experiencing exactly the same problem. In 4.6C it worked for years, and now suddenly it does not want to check in the originals.
Although, sometimes it works, and then suddenly it does not work. We've checked the network, space on the storage server, etc.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Marius

Hello,
I am struggling with the same error. Furthermore, I have been struggling to find good documentation to configure DMS. When the posting says "it looks like configuration is not complete", I don't doubt it. But what configuration?
If you have some information that can help me get started on fixing the matter, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
John

Hi Niranjan / MRk,
Thanks for the help. However, still I am facing the same issue.
I have already worked with this while working with ECC 5.0.
Now I am facing this issue with ECC 6.0.

Rahul

Hi Rahul,
How you are trying to check-in the docuement?
Suggestion:
1) Which version of ACAD you are using and Which version of ACAD Integration you are using.
If you are using ACAD integration version 4.0.0.0 then please upgrade to ACAD integration version 4.5.0.0. Whichi is available in SAP Market Place.
2) In your configuration, are you trying to create JPG Conversion? if so then please remove the trigger CreateAutoNeutralFile from the config.
Create a new drawing and test the check-in functionality and let me know the result.

MRK

Hi,
Pls try this one.
In your local machine goto
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc
There will be file called "hosts"
in that file pls specify the IP of the content server.
eg.
<IP address> <Content server name>
102.210.23.186 myContentserver
Save the file.
Restart the machine and then try check-in the file in content server.

MRK
