Output type

Hi guys,

While assigning the Output determination proc. (V10000)

to a Billing type (eg.F2) ,in customising (> Assign output det.proc.)

what is the signifiance of the field "Output type" ??.

As per the condition technique, for which ever

condition types,we maintain the condition records,is being taken into consideration for output.eg it can be RD00 or ZD00,

or any other condition type.

So does the field "Output type" in the customising (> Assign output det.proc.) overrides other condition types in the output

det ,proc. ??.

Thanks for your quick answer.

Umesh.

Dear umesh,

FOR BILLING OUTPUT CONDITION TYPE IS RD00

USE - TCODES VV31/32/33 FOR MAINTAINING CONDITION RECORDS

Hi,

Does this mean that for any Billing type (eg F1 ,F2),

the default condition type is RD00 and we need to maintain

only condition records for RD00.

thanks for your quick answer,

Umesh.

Yes, of course. this means u can be able to see the RD00 output only, when u are executing the billing doc (F2)

Also please make a note that in that same screen, for BV(cash sale invoice) , there is no such assignment.

since the cash sale invoice is the different doc comparatively. its output type is RD03.

Hope u understand, please post for further clarification, if any.

Hi,

If RD00 is the default condition type ,for the billing type F2 ,then will all the OTHER condition types mentioned

in the output procedure be ignored?.

OR depending upon whose condition rceord we maintain(

and hence is found when searched) ,ONLY

that condition type will be executed..

Thanks for your answer.

Yaa, what u have understood is right.

Actually, take an example of any transaction, u need not require more than a single output type, (may be more no of transmission medium may be required). in such a case, if u want to execute any other output type, u can replace the RD00 and maintain the condn. records for the new output type.

Then u can see the output is executed in the new output type (Ex; ZRD0)

I think now u get my view. Please post for clarification, if any u have

hello, friend.

the intention of the assignment is to allow you an output type for your onscreen display.
