Hi,

I have running the ST-SER relese 700_2005_2 level 6 in my SAP Solution Manager, Can I add-on directly with the ST-SER relese 700_2007_2 highest level, without updating in the sequence.

Hi Anwer,

Usually you take it to ST-SER relese 700_2007_1 via SAINT and then patch to 2 via SPAM.

Thanks for the reply, my concern is that shall i go to add-on the latest service tools from the st-ser 700_2005_2 to 700_2007_2 without applying in the sequence.

Is it mandatory to go into the seqence of the release and level. ?

Please advise on above.

Hi Anwer,

The procedure is that you update the release first from 2005 to 2007 and then update the patch level in sequence.
