Enhancement of SAP IS Retail Article Master - BADI_MATERIAL_OD

Hello Dear experts

Could you please provide me with some help regarding an enhancement I would like to make in the SAP retail article master data.

I need to add an extra field (MARA-MFRNR) in the general view of the master data.

I understood that I need to implement BADI_MATERIAL_OD

to manage the new field.Could you please help me with the general tips on the implementation badi in order to make the newly added field appear on the article master data screen and also to manage the data flow between the customer subscreen and the SAP application.

Hello,

MARA-MRFNR is a standard field in Basic view of Article Master and there is no need to use BADI for this. In transaction OMSR, you can make the field optional/mandatory. For the field selection group 124, click the green arrow and select the article types for which you want to make the field editable and save it.
