Stock error

Hi,

When I try to enter stock in MB1C the following error is occuring..

"Account determination for entry INT GBB 0001 BSA 7910 not possible

Message no. M8147

Diagnosis

The system did not find an account for this transaction. This means that the account determination for key INT GBB 0001 BSA 7910 is not maintained in MM Customizing (Valuation). The key is made up of:

Chart of account

Transaction key (= Posting transaction)

Valuation grouping code

Account grouping code

Valuation class

System Response

The system cannot update a G/L account for this transaction. You cannot post the transaction.

Procedure

Contact your system administrator.

If you have the authorization, check the Account determination in Customizing for Valuation.

Proceed

Note

The relevant posting transaction can be found in Table T030A."

Dear Manish

Go to OBYC, double click GBB and see for 7910 material type, whether you have maintained the respective GL account. Most probably, you would not have maintained it.

Maintain the same and retry.

Dear Manish,

This error message is being resulted, as it is possible that FI & MM does not want to permit creation of stock, through MB1C. In a Production / Live system, it is not recommended to provide authorization for Transction MB1C.

However, the solution for this is that FI person has to maintain G/L account for combination 'INT GBB 0001 BSA 7910' in Trabsaction Code OBYC, after which you will be able to create stock.
