XI 3.0 Installation Software

hi,

I'm planning to install XI, I got all the documents in the marketplace. Pleaset let me know how to get the software (CD number??). And can I download Rapid Installer (standalone), if so please let me know the url / path in Marketplace.

Hari Priya,

If you have downloaded the software for Marketplace, you will have to install the same and get an installation number from SAP. You will have to give your Hardward details, company details to SAP. There should be a transaction where in you can enter all this. (Not sure of the T Code ) at this time.

I found only the documents on XI installation @ marketplace and not the software.

I want to download software and unable to find in marketplace.

Hari Priya,

when you login into Service Marketplace, go into software download option. There you should be able to find the options for how to order the softwared.

I did that already, I searched based on text (XI/Exchange Infrastructure) and found some couple of documents and one zip file of size 65mb, and inthis zip there is no sapinst.exe file.

If you know the right link please let me know.

Hi HP,

Yes you can download it...

Go to http://service.sap.com/swdc

On the left hand select Download (under SAP Software Distribution Center) then Installation and Upgrades, Entry by Application group. On the right hand then SAP NetWeaver => SAP NETWEAVER => SAP NETWEAVER 04 => Installation and Upgrade, select your platform, select your DB.

There you will find the DVDs/CDs.

Off course a valid service marketplace user is required

After selecting "Installations & Upgrade" --> "Enter By App Grp" --> "SAP NetWeaver" I'm seeing the following 2 links

SAP NetWeaver

• SAP CONTENT SERVER

• SAP NetWeaver Components ( < SAP NW 04 )

Earlier I believe I saw "SAP NetWeaver 04" but I don't see that link any more.

Any idea?

For XI 3.0 you require WEB AS 640 + Java 640 SR1 system.
