Hi,
I am pretty new to SAP Technology and trying to get the ABAP and Java Trial für Linux running.
I downloaded the files from https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/webcontent/uuid/603afa05-d2a4-2a10-a0bf-c8674...
Installation went allright after some searching on SDN. Startup command startsap seems to work?
Output:
startsap n4shost

The Linux server is connected directly to the internet via a public ip adress SAP Management Console shows me runnsing Message and Enque server on the SCS System and no errors in the logs. But i cant connect to the SAP System with SAP Gui over the internet. The Gui is trying to connect but hangs on a popup "waiting for response"
I looked up some log files the only errors i found were:
SCS Instance sapcpe.log :
** ERROR: open file /usr/sap/N4S/SYS/exe/run/saposcol
** ERROR: unable to open /usr/sap/N4S/SCS00/exe/saposcol (No such file or directory)
SCS Instance sapstartsrv.log:
<<- ERROR: SapSSLInit(read_profile=1)==SSSLERR_LIB_NOT_FOUND
SapSSLInit failed => https support disabled
Webservice thread started, listening on port 50013
Trusted http connect via Unix domain socket '/tmp/.sapstream50013' enabled.
Thanks for your help!
Chris
I followed several HowTos on the web and on SDN. However I assumed and on the HowTos it said so, that System Number would be 00. But a look into /etc/services showed that Message Server is listening on 3201, so System Number is 01. Switching from 00 to 01 at configuration of SAPGUI solved the problem.
