Creating InfoCube in BW 7.0

Dear Gurus,

I am new to BW, I am trying to create a Basic InfoCube. I run into two problems when creating the InfoCube. 1) When I click create infoCube from the InfoArea in the modeling of InfoProvider, I can enter the InfoCube name and the description but I don't have the option of specifying that I want a basic cube. The option I have is showing me Standard. My question now is, is Basic cube the same as standard Cube. I am running on enterprise portal 7.0. My second question is when I click on the create botton to create the InfoCube I don't have the option of creating characteristics, dimension and assigning the dimension to the characteristics. Is BW version 7.0 different from 3.5 and the other version ? How can I get arround these problems.

A basic cube is a standard cube by the time of writing. SAP is planning to enhance the standard cube to match its name. So you may choose standard now.

Do not use generic cube or power cubes.
