I am not sure if it is possible directly from the ABAP stack.

But you always have the option of using PI as a mediator. Call an RFC from within your R/3 system. Route this call via the RFC adapter to PI, where you can then use the SOAP adapter to call the web service.

It is not possible to directly call a web service from SAP 4.6c.

Indeed, web service enablement is available as from Web AS 6.20, thus as from SAP R/3 4.7

So as described above, the solution is indeed to make use of PI(XI) for this.

Well at last I found the solution I conected SAPJCO with WebService (job in linux) and works ok.
