Order type 'OR' has not been defined in Sales area <'1010','11','99'>

Hi,

I am trying to create a new sales order,when i keyed the input datas in VA01 .....I am getting this error ...can anyone pls explain me what will the problem.

Error --- *Order type 'OR' has not been defined in Sales area <'1010','11','99'>*

Hi sesha,

go to spro-sales and distributionsalessalesdocumentssales document header---assign sales area to sales document types

check if that assignment is made properly

Thanks guys ....i tried and finally i missed the config in common dist.chann and common division...i did it now and working fine....

Check in OVAZ whether you have defined the sales area to sales document (OR) type. Most probably, it is not.

In my case, I managed by changing the values in 1. Material master ( Division, Material Group ) 2. Customer master ( Country / Acct at Cust). ( By referring the Configuration ) Thank you.

Hiii Driends,

I have came across a problem while Assigning Sales area to Sales doc type.....

Steps i have followed:

1. Created and assigned all Enterprise Structure

2. Set up Sales area (AA00/A1/A0)

3. IMG-SD-Sales-Sales Doc -Header-Assign Sale Area to Sales Doc type-Combine Sales Organisation. This is done succesfully.

But while doing 'Combine Distribution Channel' when I enter Ref Dist Chnl as A1, Error is appearing as "Referenced sales org. AA00 and distribution channel do not exist"

Can u sugest me any solution???
