Hello,
is there a best practice of where to install the DTR(JDI)? We have Development, Test and Production systems.
Regards,
VOlker
Hi Volker,
One advice that we received from SAP is that if any of Dev, Test and Production is going to be one of the runtime systems in the track that's going to be created, then its best that you dont install JDI on any of these.
Its best that JDI is installed on a separate WAS Java instance and it can use the SLD which dev, central and production are going to use.
Apart from this note 737368 gives the hardware requirements for JDI.
If any of these system have XI installed on them then its best that you have JDI on a separate box.
Hope this is helpful.
Regards
Sidharth
