proforma invoice

Hi gurus,

Is it possible to create excise related accounting document for proforma invoice?????????

Actually in my system i found that excise related accounting document was created for proforma invoice, how it can be done i didnt get it, if anybody knows send me the configuration settings.

I need urgent reply.

Dear kishore

Once you create Excise Invoice in J1IIN (be it against proforma or commercial invoice) and save, accounting document will be generated for the proportionate duty, ecess, cenvat amounts.

I had solved that issue, in CIN settings i had maintained the copy controls between the delivery docment and invoice type then the problem is solved.

Hi Kishore,

A Proforma invoice is always created before the excise invoice

The same is created for

1) When you create an excise invoice it shows the various taxes that are applicable for goods movement

2) It also shows that the goods have moved out of your factory

3) A proforma invoice is always created before the excise invoice so that the same is given to the trucker in some cases for him to carry the invoice copy while he is on transit...

4) I am not very sure who the proforma invoice would be transfered to the accounting document
