Launching ABAP WD from UWL

Hi All,

I am trying to launch ABAP Webdynpro application for a workitem in UWL. I have defined in SWFVISU the following:

DYNPARAM: WI_ID=${item.externalId}

I am facing problem that the workitem ID passed from UWL to the WDA is null.

(Also WD application is opened in new window, where I am not able to see URL / address bar.)

Pls suggest the points to troubleshoot.

Also Can anybody let me now the prerequiste patch levels needed for dynamic parameters to work properly?

( Info :I'm on ECC 6.0 and EP 7.0.

For our system: WAS patch level SP10 and portal SP10.)

Hi Akshay,

We managed to achieve the same without any probs.

The only difference betn our environs is SP levels. We are on SP12.

Please make sure that the UWL Task Registration is in place and also be sure that the UWL XML has this parameter in place, else manually configure that particular standard task in UWL Administration.

Actually I had checked regardng UWL XML config details about this task and this parameter appears there..

So that is the reason I was wondering whether this is related to any patch levels?

Have you come across any details e.g. patch level pre-requisites etc for dynamic parameters to work with UWL?

Pls let me know If you have any other suggestions to check for.
