Hi ,
see the demo comp . WDT_FLIGHTLIST_CONFIG in that RESULT_VIEW's init method sorting rule is created for a field . not to group the column u have to pass the parameter GROUP_AGGREGATION = abap_true .
and for creating a checkbox u have to change the cell editor for the column example is given for the image u can use the class CL_SALV_WD_UIE_CHECKBOX for checkbox .
