Limit Developer access to tables in JAVA Dictionary

We are trying to isolate our JAVA developers by the applications they work on. I understand you can limit their access to objects in the DTR using ACLs. How can I limit table maintenance. For example, I do not want Developer for APP1 able to change tables created by Developers for APP2. Nor do I want them to view them. Do you have to utilize the name server for this?

Any assistance is appreciated.

How about separating the tables for the different apps in different databases? That way you can also separate the authorizations... This is easy in Oracle, what DB are you using?
