Problem relating to public part in a dc

hi,

Iam receiving some error while adding a public part of one dc to another dc.

When ever iam try to addd this public part it shows the following msg at the top of the window

ILLEGALDEPENDENCY:the compartment of worldbank.org./oprmast.(worldbank.org_GDB_OPERATIONS_1)must explicitly use compartment of worldbank.org/attrack

Iam not getting why this is coming.I have added puplic part many times but never faced such a problem.

Could it be that you have a DC that is used more than once in your SC (Software Component)?

This is illegal, because SC's are containers for DC's.

SC's are defined in your SLD.

When you switch to your development configurations perspective in NWDS, you can see your SC's as nodes under your track.

Now for each SC the requirement says that a DC can be used only once in each SC.

If you need more than one instance, you can dynamically create an instance from its component interface. It requires some refactoring in your app. This can be the case if you developed in Local WDP projects, and now move to DC infrastructure.

Ok but this is not the case here.Only thing is that both thsese dc are from different SC's.nothing else.So could there be any other problem??

If that's not the problem, it must be somethingelse.

Maybe you need to updateCMS, maybe you need to reimport your development configuration.
