Switch step having three branches.

Hi,

I am using a switch step having three branches in BPM. I have used two conditions in first two branches. Each branch contains a send step. When I tested the BPM, the first two branches are working but not the last branch. please suggest.

Thanks a lot

Ashish

Hi Ashish,

I think you have not properly configured the Branch 3.

It will be definately be work as otherwise branch if conditions ofr Branch 1 & 2 are failed.

You could verify your settings with the below link

Hi Ashish,

the last branch is the "otherwise" branch. This is only processed if none of the other branches fit.

As you have no condition on the second branch, the second branch will always be processed; so the otherwise branch will never be processed.

Thanks for your reply,

But, I have used conditions in both first and second branch.

Hi Ashish,

that does not matter. Whenever (at least) one branch is processed, the otherwise-branch will not be processed.

Mario,

When first and second condition doesn't satisfy, the otherwise branch should execute. But, it's not hapenning.

Hi Ashish,

move the mouse over branch 3 and see tooltip. Is this a otherwise branch?

You are using a SWITCH.

Goto SXMB_MONI_BPE > graphical view. See, which branch was processed.
