MDM-BI Integration

Hi Folks,

In MDM-BI Integration scenario, I want to send data from BI to MDM without using XI.

Is there any other way to send the master data from BI system to MDM?

Hi Varun,

Yes it is possible to transfer data directly from BI to MDM without using XI.I have worked on the same scenario.

U can develop one extractor ABAP program in BI using ptable.

But u need to take BI"s help to do so.

Hi Neetu,

I am working on the same scenerio on MDM BI Integration. Cant we send the data directly using open hub destination on the BI side.

Can u please tell me how u have done the things. well deserved will be given points.

I have to do this scenerio at the earliest. So please be in contact.

have you tried to extract from MDM to BI without XI?

Hi varun,

Actually the BI syndicates 2 files, one with the column headings and the other containing the actual data.

Hence to avoid the manual intervention of synchronizing columns with their data, we can write an ABAP program which clubs these two infomation and makes 1 .xml file which can be directly imported into MDM.

Hence we do not require XI in this.

Also you can also use ABAP API's in BI to directly communicate with MDM.

Hence it will help you integrate BI and MDM directly.
