Printing PDF documents

Hello.

I need to know what can I do for downloading SAP PDF documents to local file.

I have configured an printer device type ZPDF1 or PDF1. Users create an OTF document (sales order) and they wanto to download to local file or print that document in PDF format.

SAPLPD starts when I print the document but nothing is written in the printer either in a file.

Can anybody help me?

Just execute the form with direct printing . It will generate some spool number take the spool number

if you want to save as PDF file then go to se38 and give RSTXPDFT4 and press F8 it will ask you to give spool request number

give the spool number which you got in the previous steps and press F8 it will ask you to give the path .

give the path to save the file also assign the name.

Thank you abhinay for your reply.

I had just used that fm but users wants to do it directly. I am a Basis consultant and I suppose that fm must be implemented where form is created, isn't it?
