Restore a J2ee Engine

Hi Guys,

We have restored the Abap stack through database restoration method of XI 7.0. but in this restoration only abab stack is restored, can anyone help me to restoring the Java stack of the same. i am unable to get this. We are running XI 7.0 with Oracle 10g and Red hat Linux 2.4

Hi Subhash,

Are you restoring XI on same machine or different machine? Are you changing SID as well?

Have you restored /usr/sap/<SID> filesystems as well?

Since you have restore database which also contain JAVA stack data.

I have restored it on 2 system, on one we have restored with same SID and on another we have restored with different SID

we ddinot restore /usr/sap/<SID> filesystems

i agree that Java stack is there but i think we have to store the java stack too, because my java stack is not running error to connect to db.
