Status of the Sales Order

Hi all

I am new to this role.

How can I know whether the Sales order is OPEN or CLOSED.

Which table has that information? Also what is the field name?

Actually i need to develop a report on that.

Hi,

Tables VBUK and VBUP will have the status information.

Dear Sonlai,

Go to VA03 give sales order no and click on document flow or press shift+F5, you will get to knwo the status of your Sales document

goto your sales order (ex. run VA03)

goto Header -TAB Status

check this data for 2 different orders - one without delivery (should be OPEN) and another one with delivery (check with billing doc as well - COMPLETED)

run se11 and check VBUK, VBUP for your order

what parameters do i need to consider for the sales order to have status OPEN?

please create 4 sales orders:

first - only sales order

second - order+delivery

third - orderdeliverGI

fourth - orderdeliverGI+billing doc

then goto to VBUK and check records for those 4 orders.

find the difference - field GBSTK for example (A for Open C for COMPLETED)

run VA03 for each order and check Document Flow (hit F5) - you will see which doc is OPEN, which COMPLETED (Overall process status)
