Hello Experts,
We are trying to connect from XI to a access database residing on the
application server. We have created a communication
channel "CC_JDBC_Sender" using the JDBC adapter. When we set the JDBC
driver for this communication channel
to "sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver", it automatically tries to restart
the J2EE engine and the J2EE engine does not start.
The std_server0.out contains the following error at the end:
Service com.sap.aii.adapter.jdbc.svc started. (234 ms).
1016 sun.io.CharToByteASCII::convert (370 bytes)
1017 ! com.sap.sql.jdbc.common.CommonPreparedStatement::close (119
bytes)
ld.so.1: jlaunch: fatal: relocation error:
file /usr/j2se/jre/lib/amd64/libJdbcO
dbc.so: symbol SQLAllocEnv: referenced symbol not found
Please advise if the name of the JDBC driver is correct and if so, how
do we fix the error so that the J2EE engine starts up normally.
Thanks,
Peter
