Credit Check in Quotation

Hi all.

I wanna check credit in quotation document.

For this I have a document (Z130) that have this parameter in customizing(VOV8).

Until this point ok, but I wanna block this quotation when the credit limit is over.

The field VBUK-CMGST controls the credit status, but I can't change it by customizing.

How can i do it ?

Hi Renato.

You should set the field "Check credit limit" (VBAK-KLIMP) in VOV8 to value B (Rund simple redit limit check and error message) or, if you use credit management automatic check, set value D (Credit management: Automatic credit control) and configure the desired reactions accordingly in transaction OVA8.

what is the use of setting the credit check at quotation level??

There wont be any business transaction at that stage...busines stransaction will takes place at sales order level..

Till quotation it is a just documet which serve the information.

Any thing can be done by doing the config or by customization ..but make sure business has valid scenario.

Let us know the business scenario???

Hi Magdhum.

I Know it and You are sure. But I have a situation that is necessary credit check in quotation.

All validation is done in quotation with Z solution and there was a bug in this solution that does not check credit correctly.

Sorry,If I didn´t give you many details, but this was my issue.
